Prairie Lights

A couple of weeks ago, we surprised the kids with a trip to Prairie Lights (on a school night)!!! We have been going to this light display for the past few years, but now that we live in McKinney, it was a much farther drive. It was definitely worth it though and we had the best time!

 We drive super slow through the lights, so both kids had a chance to "drive" the car. They both thought they were hot stuff!!

There is a spot half-way through the lights where you can get out of the car. There are rides, food, and a few other attractions. We rode the carousel and grabbed a funnel cake before getting back in the car. 

Our favorite part of the drive is the light tunnel at the end!

We love this tradition and the sweet family memories it continues to provide us!
