We started this tradition in 2009, when Leah was just 11 months old. It's crazy to see how much has changed since then!
First stop: trains
The birthday girl got to choose which restaurant we ate at, so of course Tex-Mex it was! I love their little Riverwalk Cantina that is set up just like the Riverwalk in San Antonio.
This man. He is my everything. He has been by my side for the past 14 birthdays!!
"Come on mom, do we have to take a picture by every decoration?"
The hotel is beautiful during the day, but at night it is truly amazing!
Oh Mr. Ty!! He was such a stinker all night. We finally ended up staying in the room that night because he was being so bad! He's just so cute though, so I can't stay mad for long :)
Thankfully, in between Ty's mood swings, I was able to get a sweet picture with my littlest loves!
Because of our sweet boy's stinky behavior and because of the crazy crowds, we opted for room service desserts. When your husband tells you to order whatever you want, you don't ask questions!!
Leah and Ty didn't waste any time diving in to the desserts
We woke up on Christmas Eve morning, ate breakfast, then got ready to leave.
One last picture as we headed out the door.
This is such a fun tradition that I look forward to all year long! I love looking back at pictures from the last five years to see how much our lives have changed since we started doing this. It is exciting to think of how much more will continue to happen as the years go by!
