A Look Back at 2015

2015 was a fantastic year for the Buck family! Here is a quick recap of the last 12 months!

 JANUARY

Leah turned 6 and we celebrated at The American Girl Store

FEBRUARY

We had a lot of ice and snow and we enjoyed playing outside!

MARCH

Ty turned 4 and celebrated with a Paw Patrol party at home

APRIL

Lindsey and Braz got married and we all got to be a part of the big day

MAY

We had to put down our sweet Libby. She was the absolute best dog and we miss her very much!

JUNE

 We spent an amazing week in Destin! It was definitely the start of a new family summer tradition!

We celebrated Father's Day at the fire station

JULY

Ryan and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary in San Antonio

AUGUST

We got a new puppy! The kids named her Leila and we were all in love!

The kids started their first day of school in Prosper. They started the day off right with a picture with the superintendent, Dr. Watkins!

SEPTEMBER

We spent four days in California courtesy of Highland Homes. It was absolutely fantastic! 

 OCTOBER

Cinderella and Captain America were ready for Halloween!

We had a great time at the pumpkin patch

NOVEMBER

We had a great time at the Celina balloon festival

Leah was the Soaring Eagle for November

We put our house up for sell and had a contract on it in just one week!

And.... we signed a contract on a new house!

DECEMBER

We closed on our new house 6 days before Christmas!

We celebrated Christmas and my birthday at the Gaylord

We loved getting to celebrate the birth of Christ with our family

Our first Christmas in the new house was perfect!

We cannot wait to see what 2016 has in store!

New Year's Eve

The kids and I had a "wild" New Year's Eve! 

This is what I woke up to this morning! These two just make my heart overflow!

 Lunch at the mall

Playing with their homemade glitter play dough

We played with light up balloons!

We toasted with ginger ale!

We called Ryan at the station and did our countdown over Facetime!

Christmas Day 2015

We were SO excited to celebrate our first Christmas in our new home! The kids slept in our room so that we could all wake up together that morning. Here is our traditional Christmas morning hallway pic:

 The kids were super excited when they ran in to the living room and saw that Santa had brought exactly what they wanted! 

 "Really mom, we got underwear in our stockings?"

 Leila had a few toys in her stocking too! Of course, by the end of the day, two of the three toys had to be thrown away because she had already destroyed them. 

 We had a couple of hours left before we needed to head to my parents, so we took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather! We walked to the park behind our house and tested out the kid's t-ball and soccer gear! 

 When we got home that evening, the kids put on their new dress-up clothes and Ty took it upon himself to arrest his sister! 

We had an amazing Christmas and are so thankful and blessed to get to spend this time with our family. We are thankful that we can celebrate the birth of Christ and show our children what the real reason for the season is!
