Leah's Gift for Ty

On Friday night we took Leah to Build A Bear to make a gift for Ty (and for herself too!). We thought this would be a fun way for her to get excited about seeing Ty. She was so cute picking things out and helping us put the bears together.

Showing us the bears she picked out
Picking out hearts for her bear and Ty's
She gave the hearts a kiss and helped put them in
Leah and Ryan helping stuff the bears
Leah and I "washed" the bears before we got them dressed
Ryan is such a good Daddy! He got Leah's bear dressed in her princess dress

Leah helped me get Ty's bear dressed in his blue onesie
After the bears were dressed, we made their birth certificates. Leah's bear is named Princess and Ty's is Blue Bear. We had such a great time. I cannot wait to see Leah bring Ty his bear in the hospital. She is going to be such a fantastic big sister!

Showered With Blessings, Again!

Last weekend, three of my sweet girlfriends threw a shower for Ty and me. It was firetruck themed and so much fun! I am so blessed to have such amazing family and friends that are willing to shower our family with precious blessings. Ty really hit the jackpot!

The hostesses! Staci, Courtney, and Courtney

The fabulous cake! It even has Ryan's station number on it. It tasted as great as it looks!

Everything was perfect!

All of the little touches meant so much. Now I know who to call on for a cute shower poem!

My big sister Christi

Opening all of Ty's little clothes. It is so weird not to pick up clothes with pink ruffles on them!

Leah was my big helper. She wanted to bring me all of the gifts.

Checking out the pee pee teepees! Oh goodness, I have a lot to learn about little boys!

So excited to meet this precious boy!

The shower was absolutely perfect. I am so thankful for this time in my life. Ryan and I are so excited to be adding a sweet little boy to our family! We look forward to sharing his life with all of the people that we hold so dear.

What Would You Do...

if you had a snow day off of school and got to spend the day with the most precious girl in the world? How about ...

Take pictures of the snow
Make pancakes and scrambled eggs for breakfast
Play with dress-up jewelry while Mommy washes dishes
Play Elefun in the living room
Talk to the dogs while they stay warm in their kennels (with a net on your head of course!)
Play with Play-Doh
Leah and I had a fabulous day together! We stayed in our pajamas all day and laughed so much. I love every minute that I get to spend with Leah and I am so thankful to have another snow day tomorrow. And, this time Daddy gets to stay home with us! It is going to be perfect!
