Sweet Baby #3

Yep, that's right, baby Buck #3 is on the way! Ryan and I are just over the moon and we are praising God for this precious miracle!

We had tried for over two years for this baby, with one of those years filled with fertility drugs. I honestly had many, many days where I just thought that it wasn't going to happen; that God was closing this door. But now I can look back and see that God was just saying "wait". God's timing is ALWAYS perfect, even when at the time I don't understand it.

I found out I was pregnant on January 26th and we had our first OB appointment on February 12th. I may have spilled the beans to a few very close friends, but we kept it a secret from everyone else. We really wanted to see that tiny heartbeat before we told the world! I didn't think I would, but when the doctor got the picture on the screen and she said everything looked perfect, I just lost it. I was crying and couldn't stop. We had waited so long to see that sweet beating heart, so it was an incredible moment.

After the appointment, we picked up the kids from school and told them in the car. Their reactions were hilarious!! If I figure out how to get the video uploaded, I'll put it on here!

All four of us are overjoyed and cannot stop talking about this baby! We look forward to finding out the gender, sharing the name, and preparing for life with three kids in the months to come!

My Valentines

We had a pretty low key Valentine's Day this year and it was just what we needed! The kids woke up to a few little treats and then we got ready for church.

After church, we went to lunch with our class and then headed to the tennis courts in our neighborhood. We had so much fun playing in the beautiful weather!

After tennis, we came home and the grown-ups ended up falling asleep! After a slightly longer nap than planned, we ended up forgoing our traditional candlelight dinner, and we headed to Dickeys for dinner. Romantic, right?!

The Friday before, though, Ryan and I did sneak away for a fantastic dinner date! We went to Trio in Grapevine/Colleyville and had one of the best dinners of our lives. We have been there once before, and both times it just makes us swoon over food! And of course, I was the crazy lady that took pictures of each course because it was amazing!

Tea Time

Leah and I attended a Mother Daughter Tea hosted by our neighborhood HOA the last day of January. We had such a fun time getting dressed up and having some girl time together!
