Well, another summer of swim lessons has come and gone. This year was a little harder because we were coming from McKinney everyday, but in the end it was definitely worth it! S & A Swimming never ceases to amaze us with the quality of lessons they offer. Our children have learned so so much from their instructors. Just like every summer before, the kids go to lessons for 30 minutes every day for two weeks. We do not get to go back to the pool and watch them until the last day. And just like the past two summers, Leah chose not to swim for us on that last day. This year we didn't fight her on it. We are just thankful that she was able to go the other nine days and strengthen her ability in the water. Ty did let us watch him, but it was quite the scene! He cried the ENTIRE time he was in the pool and he was the only one crying. His teachers kept telling me that this was the first time he had done that and that he was happy and cooperative all of the other days. I reassured them that he saved the drama for his mama! Our kiddos just do not like to perform or have lots of people watching them. Hopefully they will both conquer this fear soon!
First day of lessons! Leah was in the Advanced Beginner class and Ty was in the Dipper class.
Showtime! We were able to see some of the skills Ty learned and lots of crying!
