4th of July

We had a pretty low-key 4th of July this year. Ryan worked, so the kids and I enjoyed the festivities together. This is our first holiday in our new city, so we were excited to see all that it had to offer! We started the day off with the parade downtown. It was so cute and the kids had a great time! They loved all of the neat cars and horses. Thankfully we were able to find a spot in the shade right on the street to enjoy the parade.

After the parade, we went to our usual lunch spot, CFA. We ate, the kids played, and had ice cream.

After lunch we napped and then went for a quick swim. After swimming, we met some new friends from church for dinner at Fuddruckers. Then we headed to a local school to hang out and watch fireworks. The kids played on the playground until it got dark and then we busted out the glow bracelets, set up our chairs, and enjoyed the show.
