We Are Moving!!

Wow, what a journey the past eight months have been! Back in September we decided that we were going to take a HUGE leap of faith and sell our house and move in with our parents until the end of the school year. Well, three days after putting our house on the market, a contract was offered and accepted! Next came long days and nights of packing up our first house and preparing our sweet babes for the adventure that awaited us at their grandparents' homes. We moved in with Ryan's parents in late October and stayed with them until the end of February. We then moved in with my parents. We wanted to share the love and give both sets of grandparents the joys of living with the four of us, ha!

The plan was that we would start looking for a house near the end of the school year and hopefully close on the house and move in sometime in June. Well, once again God reminded us that His plan is always far better than ours ever will be. We ended up finding a house on our first real "house hunting" outing. It was a spec home in a brand new development on the edge of McKinney. They wanted to close quickly, so that is what we did. We closed on March 27th and have fallen more in love with our new home, the neighborhood, and the city every day. We will continue to spend a great deal of time at my parents home until the school year is over, but we are working hard to move in and get the house all set up. The kids LOVE the stairs and having their own bedrooms again. Ryan and I love the fact that everything is new, there is tons more storage space than we had before, and the master bedroom is huge (and upstairs with the kids which eases this momma's heart). We praise God for this home and this beautiful journey He has walked us through. We are eager to plant our lives here and see the blessings continue to unfold!
