Easter Weekend 2014

We had a fantastic Easter! It was so fun spending time in our new home and celebrating the resurrection of our Savior. This was the first year that Leah really understood why we celebrate Easter and it was such a precious time to hear her tell the story of Jesus' death and resurrection. 

Saturday we went to an Easter egg hunt at the church we have been visiting in McKinney. It was so much fun! The weather was perfect and the kids loved all of the bounce houses, the petting zoo, and the thousands of eggs in their eyesight.

That night we dyed eggs for the first time as a family. I'm not sure how we have missed the past Easters, but we finally dyed eggs this year! The kids loved it and were surprisingly clean while doing it!

Sunday, we woke up to the Easter bunny's treats, went to church and then headed back to Irving to spend Easter with our families.
