Ryan and I stayed up until about 12:30 in the morning putting together Leah's new play set. Of course it had to be freezing and raining outside while we did it! Thankfully, we have a covered patio that we were able to set it up on. It was so fun putting it together and thinking about all the big toys that are in our future with Leah and Ty.
Leah did not wake up until 8:30 Christmas morning. When she did, I had her stand in the hallway and let us take her picture. I love looking back at the pictures my parents took of my brother, sister, and me every Christmas in the hall. Ryan and I look forward to doing that with our children too! When she came in, she wasn't quite sure what was going on. Why were Mom and Dad taking her picture and what was under the tree? Once we took her to open her presents, she was good to go!

We enjoyed a leisurely Christmas morning as a family of three. It was nice to have time to just spend together before we headed off to see more family. We ate breakfast, played with Leah, and enjoyed this special time together. Next year, we will have a 10 1/2 month old to add to the fun!
