Growing up, my grandparents lived on 100 acres in Mabank and I have so many wonderful memories of time spent there. When my grandparents passed away, the land was split between my dad and his two brothers. So now my parents have 33 acres that will one day be passed down to us and then to our children. It is so neat to have a little piece of Texas to call our own. I feel like the saying in Friday Night Lights, "Texas Forever"!
The whole family made it out to the land a couple of weeks ago. We had the best time enjoying each others company and just playing! First up was a hayride!
