Today was packed full of fun and excitement for Leah! We started with an early morning breakfast of donuts and chocolate milk before school.
My lunch break coincided with her lunch time, so I headed down to the cafeteria and ate lunch with my girl.
After school, we picked up the boys at home and then headed to the American Girl Store in Dallas. All Leah has been talking about for months is wanting an American Girl doll. Ryan and I couldn't wait to see her face when we walked in! Leah ended up choosing Kit Kittredge and an outfit to go with her.
After she picked out her doll, we headed upstairs to the American Girl Bistro for dinner. It was the absolute cutest place! They even had little highchairs and cups for the dolls. Ty brought his Mickey Mouse, so we got a chair for him too.
The food was actually really good! After dinner, the waitress brought out a little cake with candles and we sang to Leah. There is just something so emotional about singing to your baby on her birthday. The day she was born was such a beautiful, life-changing day and I am incredibly thankful to get to celebrate that day with her each year!
After dessert we headed back downstairs for one last picture in front of the beautiful tree.
Once we got home and ready for bed, Leah had one more birthday surprise. She lost her fourth tooth! It had been really loose for days now, but tonight was the night that it was ready to come out. The tooth fairy gets to be the one to give Leah her last birthday present of the night!!
We are so very proud of the girl that Leah is becoming. We pray that God will guide us in raising her to love Him above all else and to show His love to all that she comes in contact with. We love you Leah Grace!
