New Years Eve

This New Years Eve was extra special for us because it was the first time we had a real, adults-only, celebration! Now don't get me wrong, we absolutely love spending NYE with our precious kiddos at home with sparkling cider, plastic cups, and noise makers. But, getting away with your husband and other adult friends, dressing up in a sparkly dress and high heels, and dancing the night away is just what this momma needed!!

We spent the evening with precious friends that have only been in our lives for a short time, but feels like we've known each other forever! We started the night by checking into our rooms at the Gaylord and visiting a bit before getting dressed and heading to dinner. 

 I totally had to document my outfit since I don't know when I will get to wear something like this again!

Our dinner may have been the best food we have ever eaten! We ate at Trio in Colleyville. The food was amazing! 

After dinner we headed back to the hotel to walk around and visit before heading to the Glass Cactus for the NYE party. 

Thankful that God brought this special couple into our lives!

Anyone who knows us, knows that Ryan and I are not quite the "party" type. But let me tell you, we stepped out of our comfort zones and had the BEST time! We danced, laughed, and just enjoyed closing out 2014 together. 

The perfect way to start 2015!
