Friday Night Lights

We have been dying to take the kids to their first high school football game and we decided that last weekend was the perfect time to do it. It was Prosper's homecoming game, so that meant mums, bands, mums, lots of fans, and did I mention mums!! Ryan and I started dating our senior year of high school, so football games bring back some fun memories for us.

We live in McKinney, but are inside the Prosper school zone. Prosper is a growing city, but has that small town, down-home feel! We stopped for dinner at a little Mexican restaurant down the street and it was packed with families sporting their green Prosper shirts. Then we headed to the game and searched forever to try and find an open seat. It was packed! It is so funny how the sights and sounds of high school football just seem to take you back instantly!

The kids had a great time people watching and listening to the band play. Unfortunately, we sat right by the other team's siren/horn, and every time it went off Ty freaked out! If only I had a picture of his face!

We had the best time and I see many more football games in our future!
