Our Soccer Cutie

Leah had her very first soccer practice last night! It was the day I have been dreaming about for a long time. Soccer was my sport growing up, and I was so excited to share that with my baby girl. She is playing in our city league and her team name is the Challengers!

She got all her gear on and let Mommy take a quick picture before we left.

As soon as we arrived, she and the coach's daughter hit it off. I think they will become great friends this season. Leah has 8 kids on her team (6 girls and 2 boys). They were precious running around kicking the balls. Leah started off great and ended great, but hit a rough patch in the middle of practice. Hopefully, as the season goes on, she will get more comfortable with the coaches and other kids and will really enjoy herself. Her sweet new friend had a purple water bottle with shiny stickers on it, so we "bribed" Leah with one if she would finish practice like a big girl. She did, so guess who now has a purple water bottle and shiny stickers!

Thankfully, there were two other little boys there, so Ty was able to make some friends too (and steal their snacks)!

We have one more practice before our first game. I am so excited to watch her run around in her cute orange uniform. I am pretty sure she will have the most people in the stands on game days :)
