Leah is old enough that she takes the class without us and we are not even allowed to watch until the last day of lessons. This is actually the best thing for us, because I'm not sure Leah would pay attention if we were back there during lessons. Ty was in the Mom & Tot class, so I swam with him everyday. I was a nervous wreck most of the days, so it will be good next summer when he goes back without me :)
The last day of lessons was observation day. Parents were allowed to come back and watch the kids show what they had been working on over the last two weeks.
Leah and her class waiting to show off all of their skills
Swimming across the pool
Back float
About to jump in
There she goes!
After Leah's class, it was Ty's turn to show off what he learned!
Swimming off of the step
Getting ready to go under the water together
We had to drop the babies in the water in front of us and wait for them to come back up on their own. This was by far the hardest thing for me to do!
His favorite thing was to play in the waterfall
Swimming to the step and coming up on his own
Yay Ty!
Getting ready to go under water to retrieve a ring
Got it!
Time for the big jump!
Ryan and I were so proud of the kids and everything that they learned. We look forward to seeing their swimming improve every summer.
