Super Cute Toddler on Aisle 5!

Ryan was at the station today, so Leah and I went to the grocery store alone. Lately, little miss independent wants to walk ALL THE TIME! She does not want to ride in the cart anymore. Today, I decided to do something a little crazy in hopes that Leah and I would have a pleasant shopping experience. I took her little shopping cart to the store and let her push it around beside me as I shopped. She was the most precious thing I have ever seen! The first 15 minutes of the trip was great. Leah followed me and helped me put things in her cart. The rest of the trip was a little crazy! She decided that it would be more fun to push her cart real hard and watch it zoom down the aisles. I had to chase her runaway cart more than a few times. Then, she decided she would help grab things off the shelf and put in her cart. Of course she went for the largest glass jars she could find. Thankfully, nothing was dropped or broken. By the very end, her little cart was put back inside my cart and she was strapped into the seat. Overall, it was a really fun experience with Leah. I will definitely try it again, but will wait until Ryan can come with us to help supervise!

My sweet shopping buddy!

Oh my gosh, this made me laugh outloud!!! You are a brave woman! :) Parker is obsessed with the little grocery cart in our nursery at the gym. He pushes it around filling it with things...I'm thinking one might have to go on his Christmas list this year! :) This concerns James a little bit but I told him at least he's not pushing around a stroller with a doll in it!!
