A Safari and the Zoo

Yesterday we went to Indoor Safari Park in Southlake. It was our first time to go there and we had a great time! We bought a "safari pass" for Leah for just $10. She got to have two train rides, one robotic animal ride, and unlimited play in the other areas. For little kids, it is a great place to play and get out of the summer heat! I don't think older kids would like it as much, but Leah sure enjoyed it. We didn't take our nice camera, so all the pictures were taken with our iphones. They are pretty blurry, but you still get the idea!

Today, we went to the Ft. Worth zoo. It was overcast which was nice, but it was pretty muggy and hot. We stayed for a few hours and had a great time. It was empty, so Leah was able to walk through most of the zoo and we didn't have to fight our way to the front of each exhibit.

We have had a great couple of days! We are definitely taking advantage of our summer and having a lot of family outings! I look forward to all the fun adventures we have ahead of us!
