Fresh Air and New Hair!

Today was the first day of Spring Break and it was absolutely perfect! The weather was so nice that we decided to head to the park near our house. Leah loves getting outside and today was no exception. She was smiling and waving the whole time! When we got to the park, we loaded up the wagon and walked around the pond looking at the ducks. Leah thought the ducks were pretty funny. She would point and giggle as we passed them. There was an enclosed dock that she enjoyed walking around and looking through the gate. Then we went to the playground and slid down the little slide and swung on the swings. Leah had so much fun and did not want to leave. She made sure we (and the rest of the people on the playground) knew it! We look forward to many more trips to the park this spring!

This evening, we took Leah to get her first haircut! It was getting long in the back and uneven, so we decided it was time. We want her bangs to grow out, so we just had the lady trim up the back. We went to a place called Cool Cuts 4 Kids. It was so cute! They had fun little seats that looked like cars and t.v.'s in front of the cars that had Baby Einstein on. We were not sure how Leah would do, but she was perfect! No tears at all. She actually seemed to enjoy it. Now Leah and I have the same hair cut!
