Leah Grace is 14 months old today! Her first year of life flew by, and now her second year is starting to do the same thing. Leah is less of a baby and more of a little girl these days. Ryan and I find ourselves just looking at her and wondering when she got so big. Leah is definitely a girl that knows what she wants and will let you know it! She has such a sweet spirit and great sense of humor. We love her more than anything!
At 14 months, Leah:
- has 12 teeth! That's right, 12. Four of her molars came in this month (which explains why she has been so crabby!)
- loves to read books. She will bring them to us, flash a huge grin, and then sit in our lap to enjoy the story.
- can drink out of a straw. We usually put her milk in her cup, but let her sip our water through a straw.
- has learned how to throw a good fit. :(
- has been getting a little more attached to her paci. We thought she wouldn't get attached since she didn't really use it when she was a baby, but I guess she now knows how great it is. I am thinking of a cute way to end the days of the paci in the near future.
- has a GREAT appetite. This girl likes to eat. Her fave spots to eat are Chick-Fil-A and McAlisters. I promise I didn't sway her in any way :)
- loves her babysitter Stephanie. She is so happy when we walk in her house in the mornings. I hate leaving Leah, but at least I know she is being loved and nurtured while I am working.
- continues to make Ryan and I laugh so hard with her funny faces, sounds, and dancing!

We finally bought the color tablets for the bath that I had been reading about on a number of different blogs. Leah loved it! We tried the blue tablet today and it looked like she was swimming in the ocean with all her little animals!
