Our Little Lady Had Fun Turning One!

Leah's first birthday party was perfect! We had such a wonderful time watching our precious girl play and have fun with her friends and family. We are so blessed to have so many supportive people in our life that have been there with us every step of the way from struggling to get pregnant, to sitting with us in the hospital, to encouraging us every month of Leah's life. We are thankful that we were able to celebrate with them.

I wanted Leah to have a fabulous first birthday. I did not want her to miss out on anything just because I have a full-time job outside of the home. I know that she will not remember this birthday, but I want her to be able to look back at pictures one day and know that this was a special day that her daddy and I poured our hearts into.

Our family picture before all the partying begins!
Oh, Courtney West! We seriously couldn't have done this without you. You were such a huge help! We love you!
Leah and her sweet friend Allie. I love how they both have the beautiful big bows! Allie's mommy and I have already determined that they will be the best of friends!
Wonderful friends from our Sunday School class: Ann Marie, Dawn, and Staci.

Ryan's parents and my sweet friend Emily with her precious boys (and baby girl on the way!).

Leah enjoyed opening presents for about the first two minutes. Then it was just me sitting on the floor opening all her fabulous gifts!
Leah's great aunt Janna and uncle Jerry made this frame for Leah. They took pictures of items in their house to make the letters of Leah's name. It was such a special gift!
Loving all the attention!
I just want to squeeze those cheeks!

Ryan and I could not stop talking about what a wonderful time we had at the party. We are so blessed to have such caring and generous people in our lives and in Leah's life. We are looking forward to this next year of Leah's life. She is the most amazing gift and we treasure every second we have with her.
