My 25 Random Things

Okay, I guess it's my turn for the 25 random things! This took me a lot longer than I thought it would. Hopefully you will learn something new about me!

1. I asked Ryan to go to Homecoming with me our senior year in high school and we have been together ever since.
2. If my nails are not kept short it drives me crazy. I hate getting lotion under my nails.
3. Going to Baylor for college was the best thing I could have ever done. I am up to my eyeballs in college loan debt, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I made my best friends there and I really learned about myself while I was there. I pray that Leah’s college experience is as wonderful.
4. I spent a month in Australia. It was absolutely amazing! I student taught for three weeks and traveled for one. If I could take my whole family with me, I would move there in a heartbeat!
5. I am extremely afraid of sharks and bees.
6. My family has been on America’s Funniest Home Videos. I’m serious! We didn’t win, but we should have!
7. I miss being pregnant. I felt more beautiful and happy than I ever had before. (Of course I love having my little girl here more!)
8. I sleep with my feet sticking out from under the covers. I don’t like when they feel trapped.
9. I freak out if my arms are pinned down and I cannot move them.
10. I played soccer from 3rd grade through 12th grade. I loved the excitement and fast pace of it.
11. I mix green peas in with my Mac and Cheese. That is the best way to eat it!
12. I absolutely love teaching kindergarten. I am constantly amazed at the amount of knowledge a 5 year old can soak up. They also have the best sense of humor!
13. I watch a lot of T.V. It’s sad but true.
14. I am not ashamed of the fact that my baby is formula fed. She is happy and healthy! It really upsets me when formula moms are judged for doing what they feel is best for them and their baby. Every mom should feel supported and encouraged no matter if they choose to formula feed or breastfeed!
15. I really wish I enjoyed exercising more!
16. I have a hard time not correcting children’s behavior when I am in stores and restaurants. I want to ask them about the choices they are making.
17. I have to sleep with a fan on. I need the noise at night. My new favorite thing though is Leah’s sleep sheep. The rain sound is perfect!
18. I own a gun. Crazy I know!
19. One of our neighbors called the police to our house because she thought Ryan had killed me or abused me. She told them she hadn’t seen me in three weeks and that Ryan was acting strange. We were furious!! After talking to our other neighbors, we found out that she is crazy and has called the police on almost everyone else on the street.
20. I could eat at McAlister’s Deli everyday! I am addicted to their chicken salad sandwich and sweet tea.
21. God is constantly showing me that His timing is always perfect even if it doesn’t follow the timeline I had planned for myself. The biggest example of that is my precious Leah.
22. I hate washing dishes. It’s a never ending cycle.
23. It drives me crazy when people use capital letters in the middle of words or don’t use capital letters at all. I teach my five year olds how to write properly; so adults should be able to also, right?
24. My dogs, Libby and Riley, are hilarious. I love to watch them from the window and try to figure out what they are thinking.
25. I would love to visit all 50 states with Ryan and Leah.
