Leah's Dedication

Leah was dedicated at church yesterday. It was such a special day for our whole family. Ryan and I got up extra early so that we could make sure not to be late! We met our parents at church and went to the breakfast they had for all of the families that were dedicating babies. There were 35 babies being dedicated! After a wonderful breakfast, we met the rest of our family members and found seats in the worship center. Ryan, Leah, and I were the first family to walk on stage. Leah did great! She did not cry the whole time, although she spit up all over her dress right before we walked onto the stage. The dedication was so special. We have thanked God for Leah since the day we found out I was pregnant, but it was such a great experience to formally dedicate her in front of our family, friends, and church. Ryan and my desire is to raise Leah to love the Lord and to live her life for Him. We want her to know that she is a gift from God to us and that He loves her unconditionally. After the service, everyone came to our house for lunch. We had an amazing day and I look forward to sharing these memories with Leah when she grows up!
