San Antonio Vacation

We just got back from a fantastic family vacation to San Antonio! We spent four days swimming, eating, laughing and just enjoying every minute of our time together! This was our last big trip before baby Rhett comes, so it was extra special to spend this time with the kids!

DAY ONE
We made it to San Marcos and then stopped for lunch. These two were anxious to get to the resort!

We made it! The JW Marriott Hill Country is definitely one of our favorite places!

We wasted no time making our way to the resort pool!

 We made s'mores after dinner

DAY TWO
Ryan surprised me with a prenatal massage at the spa. He took the kids to the pool and I had an hour to pamper myself!

After my massage, I met my loves back at the pool

Leah had been talking a lot about the Alamo, so we made sure to make a special trip downtown! Both of the kids were so interested in everything!

We walked down the River Walk and found our usual Mexican restaurant for dinner.

After dinner, we found Lulu's Bakery and ordered one of their 3 pound cinnamon rolls! It was ridiculously big, but oh so good!

DAY THREE

Soaking up the sun on our last day!

Sweet boy just had too much fun!!

DAY FOUR
We packed up Friday morning and started heading back home. On our way, we stopped at Natural Bridge Caverns. This was the first time for any of us to see something like this, and it definitely did not disappoint! It was incredible to see God's amazing works!

They also had a ropes course that the kids wanted to try. We were so proud of their courage and determination!

Then we continued traveling north. On our way, we decided to stop in Austin. Our first stop was Hey, Cupcake!

Then we tried out Barton Springs Pool. The water was cold and the clientele was interesting, but it was really fun!

We finished up the night with a trip to Congress Street bridge to see the bats. It was a bit disappointing, but we had fun none the less.

We had such a great time on this trip and made so many precious memories! It is always a blessing to spend time together as a family and I look forward to bringing Rhett with us next year!

I'm sad the bats were disappointing! I've never seen them on a good night either!
And hilarious about the Barton Springs clientele - I've heard that, but have only been to the pool in the morning when people are mostly working out! Sorry I didn't mention that tidbit! Hopefully y'all didn't see anyone's bits!
And and, my parents took me and Joy to Natural Bridge a couple years before Connor was born and I still remember loving it! What a fun and sweet trip for a fun and sweet family! So glad y'all got to do so much together!
