The kids found a blow-up reindeer that my dad had given us a couple of years ago, and it became a fast friend. He even sat between the kids at dinner that night!
Leah and Ty were such big helpers with the ornaments. The ornaments are not spread out evenly, they are concentrated on the bottom half, and some are even under the tree, but they were so sweet putting them on and were really proud of themselves that I cannot bring myself to move them.
We also had the lights put on the house. This was the first year in our 10 years of marriage that Ryan didn't put up the lights, but with our schedules and the height of the house, we felt it was better to hire someone. Ryan was at the station the day the lights were put up, so the kids and I sent him a picture to join in on the fun!
