Last Day of Pre-K

The day finally came, our sweet girl finished pre-k on June 5th. This year was incredible! Leah absolutely LOVES school and she just soaked up every minute of it this year. She attended Children's Discovery Center in Irving, which is a private Montessori based school that serves pre-k and kinder. 

Leah was loved on, nurtured and grew academically, emotionally, and socially. She made some precious friends and great relationships with her teachers. She finished pre-k knowing all of her letters and sounds, can count to 100 (and to 10 in Spanish!), can write her first and last name, can identify numbers to 11, can read decodable books, and SO much more! We could not be any more proud of her!

Leah will start kindergarten at a new school, in a new city, with new friends. I will be teaching kinder at the same school, so I will get to see her everyday! We look forward to seeing what our smart, sensitive, beautiful girl accomplishes next year. She is our precious angel and we are incredibly thankful for her!
