Christmas 2013

We had the most wonderful Christmas! This year was a little different because we are currently living with our parents until we buy our new house, but it was special all the same.

Christmas is my favorite holiday! Celebrating the birth of Jesus, spending time with family, the lights, the music, I love everything about it!

Ryan had to work on Christmas day this year, so our Christmas Eve was really on the 23rd. The kids made cookies for Santa (and tasted a few too!).

 
Christmas Eve morning we woke up to presents from Santa! We took our traditional photo in the hallway before checking out the gifts.

Christmas Eve night was spent with my family. We went to the church service and then headed over to my parents for dinner, gifts, and lots of fun!

Christmas Day we spent time with Ryan's family. Much to our surprise, Ryan showed up at lunch! We left the station for a couple of hours to eat with us and then headed back. It was such a special surprise for the kids and me!

I say it every year, but I cannot believe that Christmas has come and gone once again. I look forward to Christmas next year in our new house with my precious family and all the memories we will make.
