Leah's First Fun Run

On November 2nd, Leah had her first CDC Fun Run. All of the students had been practicing for weeks leading up to the big one mile race. Leah was so ready to earn her ribbon!

Before the race started, the kids got to ride on the "Boogie Woogie" train and parents could browse the silent auction items.

I couldn't have been more proud of my big girl. She ran the whole mile by herself. I had every intention of running with her, but this crazy mom did not bring a stroller for Ty. He wanted me to carry him the whole way and that wasn't happening! So, Ty and I cheered her on from the side and watched in awe as she ran the whole way.

After the race, we all went inside and got ready for the awards to be handed out. Ty was so sweet, clapping for all of the kids that got recognized.

Leah won a medal for coming in 2nd place in her class. She was so proud and so was I! She is growing up too fast!

I love this girl so much. She is so beautiful inside and out!
