Today our little baby turned 4! My, how the years have flown by. Four years ago today, Ryan and I were in the hospital meeting our precious girl for the first time. She made us parents and we will be forever thankful for that miraculous gift!
Leah Grace is the most independent, loving, funny, strong willed, intelligent, kind, shy yet outgoing, little girl I know. She is really taking to heart what she is learning about Jesus and it makes our hearts so full. Ryan and I are constantly learning how to be parents that lead her to God and guide her to be a kind, loving person. We pray that she will always know the love we have for her and that she is our miracle!
Per tradition, I took Leah's picture at the same time she was born four years ago. I love this tradition and I cannot wait to see how she reacts when she is 16 and her mom barges in at 6:20AM to take her birthday picture!
Once Ryan got home from work this morning, we had birthday donuts and gave Leah her presents. She is really in to Belle and the other Disney princesses, so that is what we went with. She was pretty excited!

We spent the rest of the day going to church, lunch, naps, and playing. It was a special time to spend as a family with our sweet girl. The day had it's ups and downs (remember I said independent and strong willed?), but we ended on a sweet note. Leah's birthday party is next weekend and we look forward to celebrating our girl with friends and family!
