Ryan was at the station on Christmas Eve and he was not supposed to get off until 7:00 Christmas morning. Thankfully and unexpectedly, a firefighter called in and told Ryan he was coming in early so that Ryan could leave that night. It was such a blessing and I am so thankful for that man's willingness to let Ryan be home in time to help set up Santa gifts and wake up with us in the morning.
Leah woke up around 7:30 and we went in and woke Ty up too. We took our traditional hallway picture and then let the kids race in to see all their presents. They were so excited about everything they opened, especially Leah. Ryan and I just loved every squeal and smile. Watching the kids so happy and full of the magic of Christmas was all the present we could want.
Santa came!
Christmas cuties
Ty wasn't waiting any longer
The look on her face is priceless! She bolted down the hallway!
Does Santa know he gave our son a four-wheeler?
Leah was SO excited about her new bike! Of course it was too cold and wet to go outside, but that didn't stop her from putting on her helmet and riding inside.
There is even a spot for baby
Ty LOVES the vacuum. He couldn't believe that he just got his own.
That's our boy :)
It was so nice to enjoy the morning together just the four of us. We had a wonderful time and made precious memories!
