1st Annual Roommate Reunion

I went to Baylor for college and lived with the same three roommates my junior and senior year. We lived in the Village and had the best time! These girls were in our wedding and are just precious friends. We graduated seven years ago and all started our post-college lives. Well finally, the second weekend of June, we all got together and had a girls weekend in Grapevine! We stayed at the Gaylord and had a great time relaxing and catching up.

When we arrived, Amanda had goodie bags for us and Courtney K. had autographed pictures of us with Nolan Ryan from her wedding.

 Once everyone arrived, we headed to Esparza's in downtown Grapevine for some yummy Tex-Mex.

 After dinner we went back to the hotel and stayed up late talking. It was like old times :)

In the morning, Amanda had planned a fun suprise for us. We took a Zumba class together. It was so much fun and a really great work out. I'm thankful there are no pictures or video from the class because I would be mortified if anyone saw my lack of rhythm!

 Then the part I had been waiting for, the pool! The Gaylord has a fun new water park and we laid out, had some frozen drinks, and enjoyed the sun for a few hours.

 That night we went to Painting With a Twist back in downtown Grapevine. It was really neat! We all had blank canvases and we followed the teacher's directions to paint a picture.

 The finished products! Mine will definitely not be hanging in my home, but I had a great time making it!

I am so thankful for these girls and I cannot wait to see what we do next summer!
