Over Spring Break, Ryan and I took a mini-vacation to Surprise, Arizona. It was our first trip away from the kids for more than one night, so it was a pretty big deal! Our dear friends, Courtney and Jake, work for the Rangers and invited us down to visit and watch a couple of games. We had the most wonderful time! Life has been crazy for us lately, so a week away was just what the two of us needed. I am so thankful that God chose Ryan as my husband. There is no one in this world that I would rather share my life with. It is nice to have moments to really enjoy each other and make new precious memories.
The view from our hotel room. Just dirt and cactus!
On our first night, Courtney and Jake took us to Scottsdale for dinner at a cute Italian restaurant.
We took a two-hour drive to Sedona on our second day. It was so beautiful! Sedona was a cute little town with an amazing view. We walked around, ate lunch, then headed to our Pink Jeep Tour.
The tour took us through the national park. It was an exciting, and sometimes nerve-wrecking, adventure.
Look out, here I come!

On Wednesday and Thursday, we went to the Rangers home games. Before the games, we went to the practice fields and watched the team warm up. It was fun to see them messing around and just having a good time. I think that is one thing that I love most about this team. They really seem to have a good time and they don't lose sight of the fact that they are playing a game.
We had great seats for the game!
My love

We went back to Scottsdale for dinner Wednesday night. The weather was perfect, so we enjoyed being outside as much as possible.
We had the most amazing time in Arizona. Ryan and I even talked about making this a new family tradition. We look forward to bringing Leah and Ty and sharing this special place with them too!
