Happy Birthday Leah Grace!

Our sweet little girl turned two today! I cannot believe how fast time is flying by with her. Ryan and I love Leah with all our hearts and we are so thankful that God blessed us two years ago with her precious life.

Leah actually woke up at 5:45 this morning, which is not typical. She and I played in her room and then I took the pictures. The lights were off in her room, so the flash of the camera was pretty bright in her eyes.

There's a smile from the birthday girl!

Ryan was off today and I took off of school again like last year. It was nice getting to spend the day together as a family. We got up this morning and had a special breakfast and then got ready for the day. I found an indoor play area on the Internet that sounded like a fun place to try. We went to Abbey's Playtown in Grand Prairie and played for an hour or two. It was so much fun! It was nice to find a place that catered to children Leah's age. There were only a couple of other children there, so Leah really had run of the place.

Swinging away!
Playing in the bounce houses

Going down the "roller coaster"
Moving on to the big coaster!

After playing, we went out for lunch at Red Robin. Leah got to order a special drink for her birthday. It was her first time to have strawberry lemonade, and she loved it!

After lunch we headed home for naps. Unfortunately, I was the only one that took a nap. Leah refused to sleep, so Ryan stayed up with her so that I could rest for a little bit. Later we went to pick up her new dresser for her "big girl" room, picked up supplies and decorations for her family party this weekend, and stopped to eat dinner. Leah was most excited about the ice cream Ryan got her!

Before we put her down for bed, Ryan brought Leah two dollars to put in her piggy bank for the two year old.
Here she is trying to figure out how to make a two with her fingers. She can tell us she is two, but showing us is a different story!

Happy birthday Leah Grace! Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know. You are a miracle, an answered prayer, and a true princess in our lives. We look forward to all the special birthdays we get to celebrate with you in the future.
