Baylor Homecoming 2010

We drove down this morning to Waco for Baylor Homecoming. I have gone every year since I graduated in 2005, and I hope to continue going every year. It is so much fun to walk on campus and being reminded of the amazing four years that God blessed me with. It is so much fun getting to share this with Leah and with Ty next year. The weather was a little yucky, but it didn't keep us from having a great time. Courtney C. went down with us and we loved spending the day with her. We started at the parade and then walked around campus and visited the bears. We took lots of pictures on campus and just let Leah loose to run around and check things out! Then we went out for lunch and headed over to the Mayborn Children's Museum on Baylor's campus. Leah had a great time running and playing. I wish the museum was closer, but it will be something that we can look forward to every year at homecoming. And of course, we couldn't leave Waco without getting frozen milky ways from Common Grounds (the Baylor version of Starbucks!). It was a great day with lots of fun memories made!

Leah and I in front of the Education building were I spent most of my time in college.
Trying to get a shot of Ty in front of the building too! Leah was not happy that I put her down so she decided to attack my legs!
Sweet Courtney! We were two roommates short this year, but we had a great time for them!
I always loved the beautiful landscaping while at Baylor. This year they had bushes shaped to spell Baylor Bears!
My growing family in front of the iconic Pat Neff building. It will be lit up green tonight because Baylor beat Kansas State at the football game!
Saying hi to the bears
Playing blocks with Daddy at the museum

Filling up the mower with gas
Picking vegetables in the garden
Driving around town. Leah refused to get in the cars through the door that opened on one side. Instead, she would crawl through the window on the side that didn't open. Silly girl!
Tea time. She's such a little lady!
Standing inside a big bubble with Courtney!
Playing the piano with Daddy
I am so thankful for the four years that I spent at Baylor. God brought a handful of amazing girls into my life that are priceless. God grew Ryan and I in our relationship while we were living in different cities and really prepared us for marriage. I look forward to sharing all these stories with our children and encouraging them in finding a college where they can have an experience that is just as amazing.
