The Best Job of All

As I type this, Leah is sitting on the floor in the living room in her mix matched pajamas with one sandal and her sunglasses on. She is chewing on the straps of her booster seat and her hair is all a mess. Before I was even done with that sentence, she had gone across the room and emptied the diaper bag and my purse. I catch myself often just staring at her and wondering how I got so lucky. Why did God decide to bless my life with this little girl at the time that He did? I may never fully comprehend His power and grace, but I will be eternally grateful for Leah and the chance that God gave me to be her mother.

Leah is a sweet, smart, and sassy little girl! She makes Ryan and I just melt every time she flashes us that precious grin or gives us a sloppy kiss. She has taught me so many things about being a mother. I pray that I will be the kind of mother that loves unconditionally, listens to, laughs with, plays alongside, and above all else instills a love for Jesus at an early age that will guide her life.

I love my daughter with all of my heart and I am blessed beyond measure to be her mother!
