We went swimming at my parents community pool today. It was Leah's first time in the water. She loves getting wet in the bath tub, so we were hoping she would love the pool just as much. When we got to the pool we were the only ones there! We lathered Leah up with sunscreen, put on her super cute bikini, and sat her in her starfish float. She loved it! She liked looking at the water, kicking her feet, and touching the water with her hands. She also enjoyed licking the float, but we were not surprised by that since she licks anything that comes in contact with her mouth! We swam for a while and then let Leah take a nap. When she got up we swam a little more. After that, she let us know that she had had enough. So we packed up and headed home. Ryan and I had to stop by Bud's Snowballs before we made it home! It was a fantastic day. I am enjoying having Ryan home more often and me being home for summer. I look forward to all the fun adventures that this summer holds!
