Leah Grace Buck will join our family in just five short months! We went to the perinatoligist today for the level 2 sonogram. Everything went perfectly. Both the doctor and the genetic counselor said that the medicine I am on should not put the baby at risk for any problems, which is a huge answer to prayer. The sonogram was incredible. We were able to see all of Leah's body parts and her beating heart. The doctor said that everything was the right size and that she looked perfect. She weighs in at a whopping 8 ounces! We got some great pictures and a video of the sonogram. He said that my placenta is sitting really low, but that it will usually move the farther along I get. I will be going back to this doctor in three weeks to just check and make sure everything still looks good. He also said that he wants my normal ob to do ultrasounds every three weeks to keep an eye on everything. I am excited that we will be getting a lot of great pictures of our baby girl.
